Get Involved
Our organization is a 100% volunteer, 501c3 organization. Which means every penny we raise in donations goes toward fulfilling our mission.
There are many ways to get involved with our mission at the Bird. Opportunities include Saturday Volunteer Workdays, grounds maintenance, weekend docents, fundraising, and helping out with events.
And since we are a 501c3 organization, all volunteer hours count toward middle and high school students' community hours requirement.
All donations are 100% tax deductible and since we are an all volunteer organization, every penny we raise in doantions goes toward fulfilling our mission to preserve the legacies of the Bird & Voris families and inspire a lifelong love and study of history, art, science, and literature.

From volunteer workdays and acoustic concerts to free lectures and educational courses, there are many ways to get involved right away. We're also very open to any new ideas from the community for partnering with like-minded organizations and co-sponsoring events. Please don't hesitate to share your thoughts and visit any of our many events.
